Wk 4: Pretext/text/context Part 1&2
This article gave me some kind of perspective of what we really are here for. Like Professor Lane said, we are here on this universe and we really cant define it but we know other things that really don't have an importance at all. Part one of the Pretext/Text/Context made sense to me when i read that if we really try to describe every single thing to the smallest detail, then the whole context of the thing will get lost. As for the example made, sentences are made out of words, words are made out of letters and so on. If we try to describe the context of the letters itself, it would be getting into composure's of ink and threads like said by Professor Lane. It makes sense when actually someone else thinks about it and writes it down. For all i knew, the universe we lived in, is just a big circle in the middle of universe. things around us we cant even figure out how or why they happen, but when we want to pick at discussions about why there is no religion and why its foolish because there is no evidence, some make it seem they have gone through mountains and oceans to find out information for those purposes.
