WK 5/6: Thakar Singh

What kind of person no matter how much power people think he might has, thinks its a good idea to blind fold children until the age of 5? wow, and to know that people actual follow this maniac and his beliefs. Brainwashing can have a major impact on a human being for the best or worst. I just dont even know how he even got the nerve to come into the US and actually try to spread his cult around town at colleges and seminars. For people to attend that is fine i guess to find out what crazy mess he is talking about, but to actually join part of it and believe he is God and that they would even die for him, that is insane. When that follower was speaking and saying that dying for Thakar might be easier than living for him, i was in shock. How can a human being have so much impact on another to make their whole view about life change? Yes i do think that meditating is healthy for the mind and soul but abusing others especially children in order to release negative force, is wrong. Thakar Singh looks like an innocent person, but i mean who doesnt? I just dont get it how people can think of someone being a God just by following them, but then again i am in their place and i am being brain washed. That is what all of this is, brainwashing people to following this "cult" and closing them in from the rest of th world. Maybe that is where Thakar gets his excitement from, knowing that he has control over so many people and that they would literally do anything for him, blind fold their children until the age of 5 and even die for him.
