Wk 7:Philosophy in 5 min

WOW. these videos looking all corny with the animation and such, were really informative. My favorite one was the one about crop circles. Professor Lane would just not let the other speaker talk. The points that he was bringing up were good though. If i could draw it with a simple pencil, then why wouldn't i be able to do the images in a crop field? He just kept picking at him until it made the other speaker give up at one little point. But other than that, these videos were very enjoyable. I am still in shock in hearing about the experience of Faqir Chand. To have a enlightment moment like the one he described is unbelievable and to know that he appeared to others as a mentor, is quite remarkable. I like it how he ends the video saying that he simply does not know the truth which in fact i agree with, because even those that say they have powers of such and stuff like that, really dont know the truth because really, nobody has discovered the great mystery.
Thinking about these videos is simple, but actually coming to context with them and actually thinking critically with them is more of a job. We know how everything works but how does it get to work like that? Like electrons and neutrons, how do they get their charge? Science is so difficult to understand but with the right tools, we can find out truths and surprise ourselves in which i think we already have with so many discoveries.
