WK 8: Assigned Reading Intelligent Design

This reading was interesting because first of all, i like it how in every aspect of thinking critically in the philosophical field, God is always a question? will the debate ever end if he is involved or not? I still wonder years from now, when i am not even alive, what will the world come to? Will religion still be as strong as it is today or will there be more controversy over it? So many questions, so much that i can learn but if i don't try to find the answer then i suppose i will never know. I think it is interesting how Demski says that evolution has no goal and that history of life is not trying to get anywhere. That brings up another set of questions. Then why all this? Why are we here? What is the purpose of the world, for us to live and then die? A cycle that is going to be never ending? WOW, it just blows my mind that I myself never can come up with these sayings or questions and for others to do so, is magnificent. It makes the human mind think and hurt at the same time. I do not think it is a bad idea for ID to be added into schooling teachings in the science field. I agree that everything will fall in its place and make sense for those that will not except the fact that there is no God, but will the theory of evolution be completely abolished and forgotten about and God and his "followers" win the war?
